About Albina Parker
Author • Visual Artist • Lifestyle Blogger
Hello, Beautiful Soul!
I'm Albina Parker, and I'm thrilled you're here. Based in the vibrant Georgetown neighborhood of Washington, D.C., I'm on a mission to help women discover their creative potential and embrace life's beautiful moments through art, writing, and mindful living.
My journey as a creative began in Burlington, Vermont, where I grew up surrounded by nature's beauty and my Estonian mother's rich cultural heritage. Those early years, filled with my grandmother's calligraphy lessons and my father's historical stories, shaped my deep appreciation for both tradition and innovation.
Today, I wear many hats – author of mindful coloring books and journals, visual artist, lifestyle blogger, and marketing strategist for innovative brands. But at heart, I'm simply someone who believes in the transformative power of creativity.
My Creative Journey
The Writing Path
Since 2009, I've been capturing life's moments through words. What started as personal journaling evolved into published works that help others find peace and creativity. My coloring books and journals, available on Amazon, are designed to be companions on your own journey of self-discovery.
The Artist's Eye
Watercolors, digital art, and illustration are my mediums for expressing the beauty I see in everyday moments. My Estonian heritage deeply influences my work, bringing together nature's patterns with folk art traditions in a contemporary style.
The Strategic Mind
As Chief Marketing Officer at 404 Software Labs, I bring storytelling expertise to the tech world. This unique blend of creativity and strategy allows me to help brands connect authentically with their audiences while pursuing my artistic passions.
The Mindful Life
Living intentionally is at the core of everything I do. From my 5:30 AM journaling sessions to evening digital sunsets, I practice what I preach about balanced, mindful living. My Georgetown balcony garden and rescued tabby cat Monet remind me daily of life's simple joys.
What I Believe In
Every person has creative potential waiting to be unlocked. You don't need to be an "artist" to benefit from creative expression.
True success comes from balancing ambition with mindfulness, tradition with innovation, and work with creative play.
When women support each other's creative journeys, amazing transformations happen. We rise by lifting others.
